Certified to AWS D17.1., GBI offers a NADCAP approved gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) also commonly referred to as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding process and are qualified to weld with and without filler material on a variety of different materials including, steel, stainless steel, PH stainless steel, Inconel, and aluminum. We specialize in but are not limited to welding thin wall material as thin as .015”, and take pride in what we do.

Our welders are constantly looking for new ways to improve the process, ensuring that customers get sound welds that are also visually aesthetic. Welding is a localized high heat process where the parent materials are melted together and then allowed to cool creating a fusion between the parent materials. This process can be performed autogenously (without filler material) or with the addition of a suitable filler material where the parent materials and filler material are melted simultaneously to create a fusion between all materials being joined.
